What is involved?

Getting a song into Rock Band boils down to the following steps:

• Gather the master recordings
• Create a game mix of the song
• Transcribe the song on the various Rock Band peripherals
• Create a custom stage performance
• Run the song through a 6-8 week community peer review process
• Submit the song for final QA with Harmonix
• Promote the song once it goes live
• Collect and distribute royalties quarterly

Offbeat Entertainment will need your help with the first step of gathering the master recordings but can handle the rest of the process after that. 

It can take 8 to 12 weeks to develop a song from start to finish.
